Prayer & Fasting for Advent

Join us in prayer for our community & beyond!

We are beginning our Advent season with a 48-hour church fast and hope that you join us as we seek God and His direction!


Our prayer is that everyone in our community and connected to our church family would have a personal encounter with Jesus during the Christmas season. We see a great need for our neighbors, coworkers, family, and friends to find new hope in Jesus and to find restoration in Him. Our fast will begin at midnight on Friday morning, December 2nd, and it will end at midnight on Sunday morning December 4th. We will break our fast with a meal and a time of fellowship after church on Sunday the 4th. 


On the evenings of Friday the 2nd, and Saturday the 3rd, we will have a prayer service for the church to come together and seek God’s will corporately. We hope you can join us for these services as well. We are looking forward to seeing how God will move during this time.

Women's Bible Study

Each week a small group of our ladies join together for encouragement and connection. Together we study scripture and discuss ways it applies to our lives today. Join us on Mondays at 1pm! We'd love to grow with you!

Men's Breakfast

On Tuesdays, the men from several local churches gather in our Family Life Center for breakfast, prayer and discussion. Our aim is to build friendships and encourage one another - just like iron sharpens iron! Join us on Tuesdays at 8am!

Emmanuel - God with us! Above all else, on Christmas we remember the birth of Jesus and the great lengths that God has gone to in order for His people to experience His presence. Community Christmas Program

In our community, churches come together joyfully in unified worship! Join us on Sunday, December 12 for a Community Christmas Service hosted by the Lake Whitney Ministerial Alliance. The service will be held at 6pm at the First Baptist Church of Whitney.
